This resource contains 180 stories to provide enough material for a school year. Each set of six stories focuses on one word family. The activities per word family include identifying word family words in the story, comprehension, writing activities, and sight word game practice.
It is our wish that your students enjoy the humor or the information in each of the stories. We hope you see them rhyming words (words that sound the same, but may be spelled differently), developing and identifying words that rime (have the same ending – word family words), and ask to save their favorite stories into a “book” that they can reread throughout the year. Most of all – we hope everyone has fun!
