The article, The Pilgrims is informational and composed of two sub-articles: The Voyage and The Pilgrims’ Settlement and First Harvest. The packet was written at a third grade level, but is adaptable depending upon which activities you use. Since all grade levels have many levels within each classroom, you would best be the judge of whether the activities are suitable for your students. Partner work, small group or even whole group work is always an option.
